Paying the price for others' bad choices.

May 29, 2020, ~ it's been 570 days since the 1st riot DT. It was the infancy of COVID-19. What we THOUGHT was the "boogieman". Only to find out we were wrong. Honestly, is Pdx better off today than we were 571 days ago?

The alarming epidemic of all crime in Pdx isn't because of covid, the BLaMe all rests on every city official, the mayor, and State Senators making the poorest choices they could have made for what was and would have been a THRIVING community. They **CHOSE TO ALLOW** the violence.

Can anyone explain if the crime were increasing because of covid why a city like Pdx would choose to allow violent rioting to continue, for over 150 consecutive nights, defund their police by 15 MILLION dollars, strip them of their weapons, order them to stand down, not defend themselves, residents, or the city? Why a DA would step in and announce he isn't going to charge most people arrested for their criminal behavior during the riots, why the city would then sit back and watch as all crime increased and do nothing to offer the solution to putting an end to this? Meeting violence with silence.

We still see rioting on the streets now, the end of 2021. It isn't even close to ending.

City leaders:

Mayor Ted Wheeler

Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty

Commissioner Mingus Mapps

Commissioner Carmen Rubio

Commissioner Dan Ryan

Senator Ron Wyden

Senator Wyden's Representative Grace Stratton

Governor Kate Brown

POTUS Joe Biden

EVERY one of these people is complicit in this ongoing violence.

Every one of them could have done something, are able to do something, yet they

CHOOSE TO ALLOW this to continue.

INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE PAYING THE HIGHEST PRICE.
