I've Learned, Moments I Cherish.
I have learned... that absolutely anything can happen at any time that will come into your life without warning or invitation and shatter everything inside of you. That, people... are capable of absolutely anything. Good or bad.
Survived... in an active anarchy/riot zone for the past 18 months.
It's been a long and painful journey.
Pain today is greater than when I experienced the death of my only child 40 years ago.
So, I write my way through this when the weather is nice, I do sidewalk chalk drawing. I do my best to remain creative even though there has been so much destruction around me.
